Across the country, including Tennessee, we are seeing an increase in crime, drug trafficking, and lawlessness. Our law enforcement officers are at the forefront of this battle. These brave individuals risk their lives daily to keep our families safe and enforce the law. Every day, men and women put their lives on the line for us, and they do it with a happy heart. Service is their life; you are their mission.

I strongly support our police, and we need to clearly address the serious challenges they face, as well as how we can assist them in doing their jobs effectively.

Confronting Criminal Organizations

One major threat to our communities comes from powerful drug cartels and human traffickers. These criminal organizations are bringing dangerous drugs like fentanyl into our country. They are also involved in human trafficking and other violent crimes. This issue is worsening, and our officers are expected to stop it with limited resources. They are overwhelmed and often deal with restrictions that make their jobs harder.

Border Security Crisis

Another significant challenge is the crisis at our southern border. The current policies are failing. We are a country that welcomes legal immigrants, but illegal immigration has spiraled out of control. Criminals are slipping through the gaps, leaving law enforcement agencies across the country, including in Tennessee, to handle the fallout. Officers are stretched thin as they try to track down criminals linked to smuggling and trafficking operations. A country without secure borders cannot protect its people.

Rising Violent Crime

At the same time, violent crime is rising in many of our cities. Some politicians and judges are pushing policies that are lenient on criminals and tough on the police. Criminals are being released too quickly, and police officers are being blamed instead of being supported. This has led to more violence and less safety for everyone. Morale among law enforcement is low, and many officers are leaving the force.

A Stand for Law and Order

We cannot allow this to continue. I am running for Congress because I believe in law and order. I believe our police officers deserve respect and real support. This means giving them the funding, equipment, and training they need. It also means enforcing immigration laws and securing our border. We must confront the drug cartels and traffickers who are poisoning our communities.

I will work tirelessly to provide law enforcement with the tools and support they need. I will advocate for stronger border security, harsher penalties for criminals, and genuine support for those who serve and protect us. The safety of our families relies on strong law enforcement and sensible leadership.
